Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing day-to-day site activities and ensuring adherence to plans and specifications. Conducting site surveys, setting out duties, and levelling work. Coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Implementing health and safety standards on-site and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Preparing site reports, maintaining diaries, and routing progress updates. Ensuring quality control procedures are followed and all works meet project specifications. Managing and resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other issues that arise.

Job Requirements:

Experience in site engineering within the highways sector. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for setting out and surveying. Understanding of health and safety procedures and regulations in a construction environment. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
