We’re looking for a Setting Out Engineer to join a leading contractor delivering complex steel structures across the UK. This is a great opportunity to work on landmark projects while developing your career in a supportive environment. What you’ll do: Carry out setting out, alignments, and as-built surveys. Support site management with quality checks and day-to-day project delivery. Liaise with subcontractors to ensure accuracy and verify works. Maintain survey records and contribute to a strong safety culture. What we’re looking for: Experience in setting out medium/low-rise structures, portal frames, and industrial projects. Proficient with modern surveying equipment (Leica, Trimble, GNSS) and AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Strong understanding of construction practices, health & safety, and steelwork accuracy standards. CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid, and full UK driving licence. Package includes: Competitive salary, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme, life assurance, Medicash, and wellbeing support.
