This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the client project that you support.The Software Assurance Engineer will play a vital role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring that software solutions are developed in line with defined processes and industry standards to ensure the reliability, safety, and security of software products.ResponsibilitiesEnsure relevant department/product/project management plans are kept up to date and the correct level of governance is executed for the products/projectsEnsure development is performed in accordance with these plans and processesProduce Quality and Assurance Reports to document process assurance through a projects lifecycle, and drive any actions through to closure.Proactive in expanding your professional knowledge; seeking opportunities both within and outside of Expleo to develop your professional knowledge in software, engineering and managementProvide support to less experienced members of the team, ensuring they are performing to the correct procedures and are not struggling in their workLead by example to create a high performing culture and coaching environment.QualificationsDegree in an applicable Engineering DisciplineEssential SkillsExperience working in a Software Quality or Assurance role.Knowledge and proven application of engineering project delivery and processes across the full project lifecycleKnowledge and experience of agile methodologies and practicesGood understanding of current trends in software engineering development techniques and technologiesUnderstanding if Defence Software Development regulations.Questioning mindset to ensure that process compliance is assured.ExperienceExperience in a SW Delivery role that includes the management of deliveries from multiple integrated SW Development and Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification teams.Experience in specific management toolsets – Atlassian Jira, Windchill PLMExperience of configuration control and change managementExperience of requirements management, software design and developmentExperience of Integration and Verification activitiesExperience in the use of industry standard software engineering toolsetExperience of working in an agile software development environmentWhat Do I Need Before I ApplySome travel to client sites may be required.
