The Role

A Solutions Engineer is our customers\' technical partner at Gigs. You will help customers plan, coordinate and successfully launch integrations using the Gigs API. The role blends technical, strategic, and operational work. You may partner with Product on a critical onboarding feature, scope and drive an API implementation across geographies with major customers, and collaborate across teams to ensure successful implementations.

Implementation sits within Customer Success but the role touches Product, Engineering, Growth, and Business Development. You will work closely with Product and Engineering to scope new features and provide ongoing feedback, while also engaging with Growth and being the main point of contact with our largest customers as they expand.

What you\'ll do

• Deliver customer implementations. Own and scope each API integration to fit a customer\'s use case, ensuring the right feature set, API endpoints, and wireframes for success.
• Key technical contact. Collaborate with the customer\'s engineering and product teams to integrate and evolve with Gigs, advising on optimal implementation paths.
• User flow advisor. Be the subject matter expert on UX/UI and endpoints needed to build a best-in-class user experience.
• Project management. Manage a portfolio of complex implementations with tools like Smartsheets, Asana, or Linear; shape roadmaps, milestones, and progress to meet deadlines.
• Cross-functional coordination. Align Business Development, Marketing, Product, and Engineering toward a shared vision with clear goals and roadmaps.
• Product Management. Identify opportunities for new features and collaborate with product and engineering to realize them.
• Commercial Strategy. Understand commercial fundamentals of each implementation and support high-conversion user flows for customers.

What we are looking for

• You are an implementation powerhouse: 5+ years in Implementation, Professional Services, or Product Management at a B2B or SaaS tech company, with experience in high-growth, product-led organizations, ideally FinTech or HR, and complex API integrations.
• You have exceptional project management skills: Excellent organizational skills and ability to drive customer projects forward under pressure.
• You balance a technical, product, and commercial mindset: Strong technical aptitude, API/webhook knowledge, and the ability to onboard into complex, operationally intensive industries.
• You are a master of communication: Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• You are proactive, creative, and hands-on: Take initiative, think creatively, and execute; comfortable building processes, playbooks, and assets from scratch.
