Peace Recruitment are supporting a leading design team on building structures in Glasgow and are seeking a Structural Design Engineer on a contract basis.

Base pay range and employment details

• Contract: Outside IR35 (Ltd Co)
• Rate: Up to £40 per hour (DOE)
• Location: Glasgow & Edinburgh (hybrid: office + WFH)
• Projects: Building structures

Experience and responsibilities

• Proven buildings experience using Tekla Structural Designer day-to-day.
• Structural analysis and design of frames and elements in Tekla Structural Designer.
• Produce calculations/notes; support drawings/mark-ups.
• Coordinate with architects/MEP and respond to design/site queries.
• Solid grasp of Eurocodes/UK NA s, stability, and foundations.
• Ability to run your own work to deadlines in a hybrid setup.
• (Desirable) Experience with refurb/alterations, Tekla Tedds/Revit.
