Structural Engineer/Senior/Principal

We are looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Structural Engineer at Engineer, Senior or Principal level, basedat Hattersley or within any of our UK regionswith hybrid working available.

You will report directly to the Structures Lead (Hattersley) and your role will provide superior quality Engineering Design services to allow the company to minimise risks and maximise profits on turnkey and engineering services contracts. In order to ensure the above the individual must co-ordinate the design and produce Structural design documents and drawings taking due account of health and safety requirements, specifications and standards pertaining to the contract.

Key responsibilities will include

Essential:Strong structural engineering design background, including technical detailing for Water Treatment and Sewage Treatment ProjectsA proven track record of structural engineering within the water with a desire to work in a design and build environmentGood knowledge of structural analysis and ability to use Microsoft Excel and design software such as StaadPro and Tekla TEDDSDegree qualified in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)Membership of a relevant professional institutionGood track record for the design of water retaining structures to construction standard using EurocodesGood working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.This role is office based but may require some travelling within the UK occasionally.DesirableChartered or nearing chartershipExperience of working for a global organisation.Experience of working with remote/dispersed teamsExperience in the Water/Wastewater Treatment Industry.Ability to embrace collaborative and innovative working.Knowledge of BIM procedures and techniques Wider experience of structural design across the construction industryExperience of outline and tender structural designBehavioural Competencies:Communication CollaborationClient FocusStriving for resultsIntegrity, Trust, and RespectCoaching and Providing Feedback #J-18808-Ljbffr
