Our Glasgow team is involved in numerous Military vehicle sighting projects as well as a significant UK submarine multi-sensor contract.Thales is committed to health and well-being, offering flexibility to fit your lifestyle (part-time hours, job sharing, home working, or flexible start/finish times) where possible.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and support the execution of Automated Test Solutions to increase effectiveness and efficiency across the product portfolio.Recommend and implement validation approaches, developing solutions across the test services.Interface solutions with SW, HW and Firmware architectures in collaboration with product design teams.Report, monitor and document test results; perform detailed functional measurements.Provide on-site support for existing ATE at the Glasgow facility.About YouGood analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of electronic components, integrated circuitry, PCB and algorithms.Ability to lead the development of solutions using project, technical and delegation experience.Appreciation for high engineering standards.Experience in Automated Modelling, Simulation or Test Methods.Desired ExperienceElectronic Engineering Degree or relevant discipline.Experienced user of LabVIEW or similar applications.Prior experience with NI FPGA software and PXI-based equipment is advantageous.Hands-on experience with test equipment (e.g., light sources, oscilloscopes, data acquisition boards, amplifiers, switches).Strong communication and teamwork skills.Security ClearanceDue to the nature of the work, many roles are subject to security restrictions.
