Position: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Sheffield with hybrid flexibility (2 days WFH)
Reports to: Technical Manager
Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:00–16:30, Fri 8:00–14:00

The Role
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for pricing and specifying safety systems and fall protection solutions. The role involves converting inspection leads into quotations, managing these through to closure, and supporting customer retention and engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
Pricing and quoting fall protection and safety systems.
Converting inspection leads into quotations and managing the process to close.
Providing technical guidance to customers, ensuring solutions are accurately specified.
Supporting the technical and sales teams to deliver service excellence.
Contributing to customer engagement and retention through professional account management.
Travelling nationally as required to support projects and client meetings.
Candidate Requirements
Proven technical sales experience, ideally in safety systems, construction, or engineering.
Strong technical and organizational ability to produce accurate quotations.
Commercially driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and cultural fit for a collaborative environment.
Goals & Success Measures
Achieving sales targets.
Improving quote turnaround efficiency.
Contributing to customer re-engagement and retention.
Supporting the delivery of service excellence across the business.
Package & Benefits
Salary: Mid-£30,000s to Mid-£40,000s (depending on experience).
Bonus: team performance-related with individual commission potential.
Company vehicle access (with potential car allocation in future).
20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (increasing with service, up to 28).
Private healthcare.
Early Friday finish (2pm).
