The position will require the individual to work within a dynamic team, implementing their engineering knowledge within the working practices of the department. The successful candidate will be forward thinking, self-motivated, enthusiastic and be able to react quickly and effectively to opportunities that arise.\n\nDuties of the Technical Sales Engineer include:\n\n * ​Creating accurate estimates and quotations within requested timescales.\n\n * Assisting and supporting the sales team.\n\n * Customer liaison.\n\n * Occasional attendance to site and customer facilities for enquiry or project discussion when and if required.\n\n * Occasional attendance to industry related exhibitions as part of the sales team.\n\n * To partake in suitable training when and if required.\n\n * CAD drawing / 3d Modelling experience – (Not essential but an advantage).\n\n * Such other comparable duties as may be required by the Sales Director.\n\nRequirements of the role:\n\n * Previous experience of estimating in an engineering/fabrication environment.\n\n * Previous experience in a technical sales and customer service environment.\n\n * The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and convert into estimates / quotations.\n\n * Personable, presentable, and articulate.\n\n * A sound understanding of sales principles.\n\n * Computer proficient.\n\n * Strong administration, organisation and communication skills.\n\n * A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.

(Not essential but an advantage).\n\n * CAD drawing / 3d Modelling experience – (Not essential but an advantage).\n\nSalary: £32,000 Per Annum.\n\nWorking hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.\n\nThis is a Full time, Permanent position
