OverviewPosition – Technical Service Support Engineer £42k with bonusCompany – Large National M&E provider with a national team of service engineersLocation – Northampton (mainly office/workshop and part field based)Industry – Commercial HVAC / Air conditioning / Chillers / Refrigerated / Water Cooled Systems ResponsibilitiesOversee and support the regional team of service engineers on advanced air conditioning technical queries or problems, primarily VRV/VRF HVAC systems and chillers.Operate in a hybrid role (office/workshop and field) overseeing a large team of engineers and regional service branches. Experience and QualificationsExtensive hands-on experience servicing, fault finding and fixing HVAC systems and/or chillers.IT literate with excellent organizational and communication skills; able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.Excellent communication and leadership skills; experience overseeing service engineers from diverse backgrounds and levels of expertise.Refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications; at least ten years of experience required, with ability to oversee advanced level air conditioning service engineers.Install background acceptable if accompanied by strong knowledge of main HVAC manufacturers.
