Position – Technical Service Support Engineer £42k with bonus

Company – Large National M&E provider with a national team of service engineers

Location – Northampton (mainly office/workshop and part field based)

Industry – Commercial HVAC / Air conditioning / Chillers / Refrigerated / Water Cooled Systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the regional team of service engineers on advanced air conditioning technical queries or problems, primarily VRV/VRF HVAC systems and chillers.
• Operate in a hybrid role (office/workshop and field) overseeing a large team of engineers and regional service branches.

Experience and Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience servicing, fault finding and fixing HVAC systems and/or chillers.
• IT literate with excellent organizational and communication skills; able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; experience overseeing service engineers from diverse backgrounds and levels of expertise.
• Refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications; at least ten years of experience required, with ability to oversee advanced level air conditioning service engineers.
• Install background acceptable if accompanied by strong knowledge of main HVAC manufacturers.

• Starting salary from £38,000 up to £42,000 with bonus (flexible based on experience).
