OverviewArtech Lighting design, develop and manufacture leading-edge luminaires in Durham City and you could be part of our ongoing evolution. The role is full time, permanent (37.5 hours per week) at Artech Lighting HQ in Durham City, with potential on-site work for project installation and aftercare services.Artech is committed to innovation, efficiency and sustainability, crafting lights locally to illuminate globally. We design, manufacture and deliver high-quality lighting solutions worldwide.ResponsibilitiesAssume a pivotal role in shaping the future of lighting solutions across diverse projects, with travel paid for where required.Be at the forefront of innovation, involved in the design and overseeing the manufacture of luminaires and lighting systems and providing technical support to customers and internally.Commission Bluetooth and DALI systems using tools from Tridonic, Casambi and Hubsense.Understand 0/1-10V and DSI, inverters, and lighting control gear technology such as D4i, DMX, and relevant DALI protocols.Support the production department with diagnosing faults and providing electrical schematics; diagnose faults remotely and on-site.Conduct client training sessions and contribute to network design with your expertise.Maintain up-to-date site-specific documentation and ensure ISO 9001 conformity.QualificationsProficient in Microsoft Excel (essential).Good knowledge of SAP (preferable).Background in electrical installation, testing or commissioning.Awareness of electrical safety protocols and a background in lighting controls.Qualification in engineering or a relevant electrical field.Health and safetyDemonstrate awareness of electrical safety protocols and stay up to date with cutting-edge systems and equipment.Collaborate with Sales for quotations of additional days or materials as needed.Salary and benefitsTravel paid for.A performance-driven annual bonus.Private medical insurance.Free parking.Early finish every other Friday.Additional informationArtech Lighting is a UK lighting manufacturer developing and delivering architectural lighting solutions for new build and retrofit projects worldwide.
