Temporary Industrial Placement - Design Engineer (DE365) We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Temporary Industrial Placement - Design Engineer to join our innovative team in Hinckley. This is a unique opportunity for an engineering student to develop and test a broad range of skills in a thriving environment. Responsibilities
Developing and testing 3D CAD design work and producing technical drawings. Engaging in development testing and computer simulation, specifically using Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Participating in our comprehensive induction programme and specialised CAD training course (PTC Creo) to equip you with the skills you need for your projects. Collaborating within our open-plan office environment, fostering effective communication and teamwork. Working with external suppliers and various departments such as Purchasing, Quality, Assembly, and Manufacturing, enhancing your industry-relevant skills.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an Engineering-related degree programme. Able to work on-site in Hinckley 5 days per week. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferably studying a degree accredited by the IMechE, meeting the academic requirements of a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
