Overview

REClifts is looking for a Trainee Lift Engineer to join our client's team in London. You'll be responsible for installing and setting out lift and escalator equipment, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. If you're electrically or mechanically qualified but don't yet hold an NVQ Level 3, you may be considered for an Improver position – so please apply!

Role variants: Trainee Lift Engineer, Lift Installation trainee, Lift improver, Lift fitter, Lift Industry. Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 basic salary + attractive overtime rates. Responsibilities

• Install lift/escalator equipment, ropes, doors, and frames to approved procedures
• Perform site surveys and final checks before testing/commissioning
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients
• Follow company safety, quality, and health standards
• Attend training and contribute to safety initiatives

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift/Escalator Installation (or working towards it)
• Valid CSCS card
• Mechanical/electrical background
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication, punctuality, and flexibility
