We are recruiting for an experienced Pre-Commissioning Engineer to join a leading water hygiene and treatment specialist, delivering high-quality services across commercial and industrial sites in London and the South East.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in pre-commission cleaning of closed water systems to join a forward-thinking company that values expertise, safety, and progression.
The Role: As a Pre-Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out BSRIA-compliant flushing, chlorination, and water quality testing of closed heating and chilled water systems on construction and retrofit projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out pre-commission cleaning (BSRIA BG29/2021)
*
Flushing and dosing of closed-loop heating and chilled systems
*
Conduct water sampling and testing (pH, conductivity, biocide levels, etc.)
*
Disinfection of water systems in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG274
*
Produce detailed site reports and flushing certification
*
Work with project teams and site managers to ensure delivery to specification
*
Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in pre-commissioning and water treatment of closed systems
*
Familiarity with BSRIA guidelines (BG29 & BG50)
*
CSCS card (essential)
*
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical/Plumbing (preferred)
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Strong attention to detail and report writing skills
*
Willingness to travel to various sites across London and the surrounding areas
