The Role

As our Application Support Engineer you will work alongside our VP Engineering to build best-in-class support processes. You will be the first dedicated hire in this position, so we’re looking for a subject matter expert we can build around. We have a customer-first mindset and this carries through internally and externally, so we’re looking for someone who can create seamless user experiences, rapid response times, and can build great architecture. Our product is like a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle—finance, logistics, and industrial processes. You’ll need to quickly get up to speed and see the big picture. We’re on the hunt for a talented and ambitious individual ready to tackle hard challenges in a fast-growing company with a grand vision and killer product. As we grow the function, you’ll be involved in hiring, mentoring, and nurturing a culture that’s collaborative, ambitious, and laser-focused on results.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecting Awesome: Be the mastermind behind the design and implementation of cutting-edge product features that make our clients go, "Wow, that's cool!"
• Decode the Matrix: Take complex systems and features, collaborate with the team to drive the product roadmap forward with clear communication.
• Workflow Wizardry: Influence best practices that make the team’s workflow smoother and more efficient.
• Mentorship Jedi: Help hire and mentor new technical talent and guide others to excellence.

What You'll Need

• Brains and a Degree: A Bachelor's Degree (or above) in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
• Code Like a Pro: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, TypeScript, etc.).
• Experience Level: 4-6 years of solid software engineering experience; growth-focused team experience is a plus.
• Talk the Talk: Strong communication, organization, and prioritisation skills with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
• SME Enthusiast: Passion for helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) succeed.
