My client, a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy based in the City of London, is currently seeking an experienced Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This opportunity has arisen following a major project win involving a landmark development of 900 residential units and commercial space in London.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in mechanical building services design.

  • Strong leadership and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage teams and deliver projects from concept to completion
  • Experience with large residential and commercial developments
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to design and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design and coordination on large-scale developments
  • Engage directly with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure technical quality
  • Manage internal and external meetings and represent the company professionally
  • Support proposals and future bids
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers
  • Solve complex design challenges and drive project success
