Role

Desktop Support Engineer. You will be responsible for supporting colleagues across the company both remotely and onsite to resolve a breadth of IT-related challenges. This includes hardware and physical network support and the improvement of desktop-related processes across the organisation. The role is office-based and involves developing the desktop function, documenting processes and procedures, and contributing to team excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer-focused support to colleagues, debugging complex issues and supporting a self-service approach
• Support the office throughout the week, ensuring working equipment and a high-quality office environment
• Document Standard Operating Procedures for knowledge sharing and contribute to team development
• Assist with ordering IT equipment and manage associated assets
• Support security operations within the business, ensuring adherence to audit requirements and supporting end-user device security features

Technical Skills

• Background in technical desktop skills, such as Azure administration, network management, and hardware diagnostics
• Ability to support technical issues across operating systems and the physical aspects of desktop support
• Adept at writing documentation to map Standard Operating Procedures for knowledge sharing
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing demands
