Geotechnical Engineer | Birmingham | £40,000

The role offers a blend of office-based work, site visits, and home flexibility, with involvement across a range of multidisciplinary projects from early-stage assessments through to construction support.

The role will involve supporting the delivery of geotechnical and geo environmental input across a variety of projects, contributing to the preparation of technical reports and assisting with design development. You'll be involved in site investigations, data interpretation, and coordination activities, while using relevant software and tools to support analysis and modelling tasks. Collaboration will be key, as you'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.

What We are Looking For:

* A background in civil engineering, geology or a related discipline. * Experience (or strong interest) in geotechnical and/or environmental ground engineering. * A proactive mindset, with a desire to learn and take on increasing responsibility. * Confidence in technical writing and communication. * Previous consultancy experience is beneficial, but not essential.
