This is a hands-on design role where you will be responsible for driving innovative solutions across the full product lifecycle — from initial concept and 3D design through to validation, testing, and production support.\n\nThis opportunity is ideal for an engineer with a strong mechanical background, a detailed understanding of hydraulic valve principles, and a passion for designing precision-engineered components that deliver reliability and performance.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\nAs a Hydraulic Valve Design Engineer, you will:\n\nLead the design, modelling, and development of hydraulic valves and fluid power components.\nUse CAD and engineering analysis to produce innovative design solutions that meet stringent performance requirements.\nConduct detailed design validation activities, including FEA, tolerance stack-ups, and performance simulations.\nTranslate technical requirements into robust engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.\nCreate and manage engineering documentation, including design reports and Engineering Change Notices.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, and testing) to ensure smooth transition from design to production.\nInvestigate design issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective design improvements.\nDefine and oversee environmental and functional testing objectives to validate product performance.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nTo succeed as a Hydraulic Valve Design Engineer, you’ll bring:\n\nA degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).\nProven experience in hydraulic valve design or fluid power systems engineering.\nStrong CAD skills with the ability to create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings.\nKnowledge of mechanical design principles, including GD&T, tolerance analysis, and materials selection.\nAn analytical and systematic approach to solving complex engineering problems.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering and production teams.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Hydraulic Valve Design Engineer to take a leading role in designing innovative hydraulic valve solutions, shaping the performance of high-integrity systems used in demanding environments
