OverviewJob Title: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)Location: Cheltenham, UKSalary: £38,000 per yearHours: Days Monday to Friday, flexible start and finish, early finish FridayAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our team in Cheltenham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and a basic understanding of electrical fault finding. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility, working with a variety of systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, presses, robots, and automated manufacturing lines.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform planned and reactive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Maintain and troubleshoot presses, robots, and automated manufacturing lines.Carry out basic electrical fault finding when needed.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Work as part of a small, dynamic team to ensure maximum machine uptime and efficiency.Skills & ExperienceMechanical bias with experience in industrial maintenance.Ability to carry out basic electrical fault finding (training can be provided).Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, presses, robots, or automated systems is advantageous.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Flexibility in working hours and a proactive approach to maintenance.What We OfferFlexible working hours with the ability to adjust start and finish times.Generous holiday allowance with the option to purchase additional days.A supportive and collaborative team environment.A range of employee rewards and pension contributions.Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
