What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the mechanical design and delivery of projects across RIBA stages 2–5, producing calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the wider design team, including mentoring junior engineers.
  • Manage project deliverables to meet financial targets, deadlines, and client expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of internal standards, best practices, and technical processes.
  • Assist with site coordination, sub-contractor briefings, and responding to RFIs.
  • Play an active role in growing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.


What We’re Looking For

  • Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards).
  • Strong background in mechanical design within construction or engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD and REVIT.
  • Commercially aware, client-focused, and solutions-driven.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
