Mining Engineer | London

Permanent Role

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000

My client is a specialist mine engineering firm, based in London, who are actively looking for candidates with a strong background in mining to join their team. Their diverse team is looking to expand in London, due to the increased workload and recently won major projects.

This unique Mining Engineer role offers the chance to work on projects globally, with occasional travel overseas. You will be trained both internally and externally, with full support from senior engineers.

The role involves projects that specialise in rock mechanics, tailings, renewable energy, engineering geology, geophysics and water management, giving you a well-rounded and comprehensive background.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic background within Geotechnics/Mining/Rock Mechanics
• Experience with slope stability packages and numerical software (e.g., Plaxis)
• Experience working in an engineering environment desirable
• Live within a commutable distance of the London office
• Full UK Driving Licence
