Position Overview

As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our controller to ensure our equipment operates at peak performance. Your role will involve:

• Timely and efficient routine maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
• Identifying potential issues that could affect performance.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus on:

• Preventative Maintenance Servicing (75%): Carry out routine servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines and take routine oil samples.
• Machine Inspection (20%): Conduct visual and mechanical analyses to identify developing issues in systems and components.
• Minor Repairs (5%): Complete minor repairs and installations as needed.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain, and vehicle electrics/electronics.
• Experience in a related engineering function (around 3 years) or a formal apprenticeship qualification.
• A full driving license held for at least 2 years.

Working Conditions

This is a field-based role with a working pattern of 43 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including one Saturday every three weeks at an overtime rate. Enjoy the flexibility of start and finish times!
