Hours: Permanent, Full Time

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our nuclear team, supporting the redevelopment project at the Dockyard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting on-site investigations of specific quality issues and actively participating in their resolution.
• Ensuring that our on-site supply chain partners maintain a robust documented Quality Management System that meets project requirements and supports self-certification.
• Assisting the construction team with the review and effective implementation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) , supply chain quality plans, and quality control procedures.
• Facilitating the closeout of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Reports (CARs), and observations in a compliant and timely manner.
• Delivering engaging quality training modules to KBJV and supply chain staff.
• Liaising between the KBJV delivery team and the Client regarding the timing of Hold and Witness inspections and Surveillance activities.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you have:

• Academic Qualifications: A degree or qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing Engineering, Quality, or a Construction-related field (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng).
• ECS / CSCS Cards: PQP/AQP.
