Location & Hours
Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, Devon. Enjoy the flexibility of some remote work!
Hours: 45 hours per week – Permanent, Full Time
Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
Your Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role within our nuclear team, supporting the redevelopment project at the Dockyard. Your daily tasks will include:
- Maintaining and operating an effective Quality Management System at all levels.
- Providing site training and mentoring on Quality Management System requirements.
- Preparing, reviewing, and evaluating Inspection & Test Plans, including those of subcontractors.
- Overseeing the material approval process by inspecting delivered materials to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Assisting delivery teams in achieving timely sign-off of Inspection Test Plans by attending weekly client meetings.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- Academic qualifications in Civil Engineering, Quality, or a related field (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng).
- A valid CSCS card (White PQP/AQP).
