Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Area Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take charge of service and maintenance requests from our Service Desk, and undertake small project work as needed. You will be part of our out-of-hours on-call rota, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service 24/7. This is a growing organisation that values professionalism and strong customer relationships. You’ll have the chance to make a difference in your service area while representing ASEL with pride and approachability.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Your Service Area: Take ownership of service calls within your allocated area and ensure a high standard of service delivery at all times.
• Communicate Effectively: Keep your Line Manager or Supervisor informed about outstanding issues and engage proactively to minimize revisit calls.
• Promote ASEL’s Values: Be an ambassador for ASEL, showcasing professionalism, customer care, and best practices in all interactions.
• Collaborate: Work closely with our Service Team to complete other reasonable duties in a timely and efficient manner.

Your Skills And Experience

• A solid understanding of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Fire systems is essential.
• A commitment to continuous learning, with ASEL providing ongoing training in company-specific procedures and relevant areas.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a knack for building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of your designated service area.
• Maintain professionalism while troubleshooting and resolving client issues.
• Adhere to SLAs and aim to provide first-call solutions.
• Maintain a positive image for ASEL through appearance and conduct.
• Keep your service vehicle well-maintained and clean.
