OverviewHazards Engineer / Senior Hazards EngineerLocation: Bristol, Epsom or Manchester (Hybrid working available)Salary: £40000 – £70000Type: PermanentWe are currently supporting a leading organisation in the delivery of safety critical solutions within the nuclear and low carbon energy sectors. They are seeking a Hazards Engineer or Senior Hazards Engineer to contribute to the assessment of internal and external hazards, helping to shape safe, resilient energy systems for the future.ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of hazards safety cases.Interface with civil, process and other engineering disciplines.Develop innovative solutions to complex problems such as meteorological hazards impacting the nuclear fleet.Perform numerical analysis supporting fire, flooding and seismic hazard evaluations.Team and developmentWorking within a multidisciplinary environment, collaborate with a global technical community and contribute to knowledge sharing. Opportunities exist to mentor junior engineers and develop leadership capabilities in a supportive culture.Candidate requirementsExperience in hazards assessment within safety critical or nuclear sectors is desirable.Candidates should be motivated to deliver technically excellent work with attention to detail and an understanding of broader project objectives.Additional informationThis role is based in Bristol, Epsom or Manchester with hybrid working arrangements.
