Our customers include leading investment and commercial banks, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, corporations, and individual traders.The selected candidate will join the Data Services Domain within Technology in Belfast as a Software Engineer III , initially supporting the Market Data Services team.You will be part of the Derived Data Pod. This role will be instrumental in developing, and maintaining the systems and tools used for the accurate calculation and dissemination of CME Group's proprietary derived market data products. The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise to enhance operational efficiency, ensure data integrity, and support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Principal AccountabilitiesIntermediate proficiency in Java; Writes application modules and unit tests with guidance.Demonstrates understanding in design and analysis patterns; Identifies best practices, and promotes standards and best practices across development teams.Helps with code optimisation based on delegated tasks.
