Overview

Software Test Engineer in a growing SaaS business. You will help ensure our web-based applications are robust, reliable, and scalable.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build, run, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress (or Playwright/Selenium).
  • Conduct manual and automated testing of the SaaS platform to ensure quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to define and refine test strategies.
  • Work in AWS-based environments for deployment and testing.
  • Write SQL queries to validate backend processes and data integrity.
  • Own and evolve the testing process within an agile delivery environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years’ experience in a software testing role, ideally within a SaaS or web application business.
  • Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
  • Practical knowledge of AWS cloud environments.
  • Strong SQL skills for backend testing and data verification.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test lifecycle management.
  • Clear communicator and a natural problem solver.

Nice to Have (Not Essential)

  • API testing experience
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent
  • Office-based in Maidstone, Monday–Thursday
  • Friday: Work from home
