Social network you want to login/join with:Integral part of the Design Engineering Team supporting Cradle To Grave Product Design Process producing System Design Engineering Documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalysis of customer supplied documentation for requirements captureProduction of Design Documentation for initial Systems Requirements Reviews including:Design SpecificationInitial Project Plans including Development Plans, Verification Plan, Safety PlansCompilation of proposals and cost estimates, in collaboration with all appropriate functions within the business.Generation of Bills of Materials within the company ERP.Production of Design Proving and Compliance Documentation including:Factory Acceptance Test DocumentDesign Proving DocumentationConducting Environmental and EMC Design Proving and Qualification at Test Houses (may include an element of domestic travel).Production of final Compliance Matrix and Qualification Test ReportsComply with all HSE requirements related to the role and work towards a zero-harm culture.Customer and Supplier LiaisonQualifications, Skills and AttributesCore RequirementsDegree educated in a technical discipline, although an HND (or similar) with equivalent experience may be considered.Understanding of engineering and able to understand and communicate technical issuesDemonstrated experience in system engineering of small to medium sized development projects.Familiarisation of core project management administration skills (gantt charts, etc)Desireable Skills and ExperienceDOORS Requirements Management ToolSolidworks 3-D Mechanical Design Tool2-5 Years experience in the system engineering management of complex multi-discipline design projects.Solving Technology Challenges for a Sustainable WorldWe want the very best people in our TT family across the globe – so we welcome applications from everyone, to celebrate a diverse mix of experiences, backgrounds and identities.
